Ok, I have a bunch of questions...
I want the clear look on my tail lights, which type would you go with?
I've been looking at the altezza and TYC lights and I don't see much of a difference except in the price. I read that the altezza ones tend to leak though so that has got me thinking maybe not to go with them.
Next, I want to put the clear bumper lenses on the front of my car, but as I've seen on this site, it comes with amber bulbs. So my question is what bulb would I have to get to change that for a completely clear look keeping in mind I would like them to be legal.
I would like to get rid of all of these amber bulbs, did I miss any? If I did where are they and what would I have to switch them too.
Also I read some stories about things melting, lights burning out, etc... Is that normal when changing these lights?
I know these questions probably seem elementary but I like to get things right before I do something. Thanks for any replies!

There are bulbs that are chrome in color, but when they light up they glow orange. i've never heard of clear corner bulbs melting. if your looking for clear Altezzas, check out the APC ones. (the flat ones)

well you ahve 3 amber bulbs on ur car. there are the turning signals int he tailights, clear corners, and the ur blinkers in the front. if you want legal yet clear you need ot get the silver bulbs zero is talking about. can get them at pepboys or ebay. will work great. for sidemarkers you can jsut get white bulbs becsue those dont need to be amber. If you get altezza tails you prob will get rid of the rear blinkers so thats 1 less to worry about. have questions feel free to pm

There are a couple of different brands that make aftermarket tails for the celica. The most popular are the TYC Altezza or APC. I'm not sure but I think that any aftermarket light will have a little gap allowing water to get it b/c they don't fit as flush to the body as the stock lamps. I get a little water in mine when I wash it but it clears right up; just make sure your seals are tight and everything will be fine. As far as the lights that go in your side markers, just search this site superlumination.com for a 194 wedge bulb with a clear lens. The law allows either amber or white in the front of your vechicle so that shouldn't be a problem if you wanted a clear lens that emits a white light instead of amber. (I also recommend using led bulbs whenever possible) Your stock turn signals should also be amber in appearance so get a pair of clear 1156 bulbs while you're at it. I've used this site a couple of different times and I've never had a problem. The only time you're going to get melting/burning of any sort is if you get a higher wattage bulb than your stock harness can handle. If you want a higher wattage than you need to make some modifications. Use this guide when replacing all your lights in order to make sure you're getting the right size/wattage https://celicahobby.com/tech/lights_external.htmlLastly, always remember to take your time when replacing bulbs and do it right or else you can cause the bulb to blow prematurely, or worse cause wiring damage. If you have any other questions, I'm sure anyone here will be happy to help you.

Actually your stock rear turn signal bulb should be clear, it's the amber part of the lens that makes it look otherwise. Just to be sure though you can always pop it out before you go and order bulbs you don't need

I hate to ask this question because I have other hobbies that I am far better at where I answer elementary questions over and over so I know how yall must feel but...
Could you give me links for the specific types of lights and possibly a price. I noticed the clear side covers on this site, is the price good for that or should I keep looking? And as far as the bulbs go, if you could fill these in I'd really appreciate it.
Clear Corner Bulbs: Link?
Blinkers in the Front: Link?
Any other opinions on the taillights? Thanks for the replies, Zero I'll be sure to look at those!

All 3 tail bulbs are clear. In addition, the corner lights (they're not turn signals) are as well clear bubls. I ordered the lenses off of this site, and just left my stock clear bulbs in. That way if I get hassled, I say they are stock.

The only problem I have with them is exactly what I stated above... a little water in there from time to time. Clears up and it's fine. It's NOTHING like getting condensation in your headlights so don't let that statement fool you. btw since I got new headlamps I haven't had any moisture in there yet (ok just had to say that)
