Hi all,

I can get a deal (50% off) Pioneers and Alpines. I am looking at decks, 4 speakers, and a 4 channel amp. What is your opinion on which is better for sound quality and product quality.

Alpine's sound quality is unriveled in my opinion. i have the IVAD300R installed for the last 3 months and its amazing. BTW Alpines new elite range - called F1 i think is not actually made by alpine themselves - its made for them by someone else.

I've got Alpine in my car too. Between the two, I'd go with Alpine.

cool, thanks! alpine speakers and amps...one last question, i really like the pioneer deck better than the alpine (the look of it)...will that cause any problem because of mix matching the deck from the speakers and amp?

between the two i would choose alpine but i do have a little pioneer in my cat also.

I have alpine deck - the best IMO

Focal componet speakers - best speakers i have ever had, but a little $. Way better than the pioneers i used to have.

Infinity subs - have no complaints, sound great.

a planet audio amp powering subs and a smaller pioneer amp powering front two focals.

I love all the parts i have so any of these IMO is good. But overall i would take alpine products over pioneer products.

sweet thanks everyone! I thought a lot about what to get after all of you have given me your input and since I can get half off at Best Buy and the best htey have is Alpine and Pioneer, I think i will go with Alpine speakers and amp (waiting to get subs and another amp), but i love the look of one of the best pioneer they have a lot better than the best alpine they have so I think i will get that deck. My girlfriend has an Eclipse mono amp and has a jl audio sub in an enclosure so i might buy that cheap off of her later on too. Thanks so much, any more info anyone can come up with, feel free to share with me smile thanks so much!

PS I used to have a pioneer in my first car and i loved it but it was with stock speakers rolleyes Thanks again, i really appreciate it grin

I like Pioneer's decks more than Alpines, though Alpine has a lot of new ones with color change led's and stuff. I have never used Pioneer's or Alpines speakers/amps... I'm a JL fan myself but I guess I'd go with Alpine in your case and Pioneer for the deck.

Both are really good. Alpine does better with car audio and Pioneer does better with home audio. happywink
