I have been doing some research on suspension set-ups. I was looking at getting Hotchkis Street Coil Springs, Hotchkis Rear Camber Links, and KYB AGX struts/shocks. That set-up would run about $765.00 plus freight at TitanMotorsports.com . I was also looking at Tein Basic Damper kit. That kit goes for $756.00 plus freight from Optionimports.com . Any opinions on either of these set-ups?

yeah adjustable coilovers better than basic springs and shocks setup.. but then you gotta get someone who knows what their doing to tune your suspension for you. I'm gonnna go for the cheap lowering route myself though tokico HP kit with springs and shocks(400).

Go for the 1st set up. You might not even need the camber kit if you get the hotchkis sprinps..i belive they are only a 1.5 inch drop. The agxs are very good for damping adjustment. i would set the rear stiffer than the front to get the best results for the celica. But you gotta ask yourself...will you ever be lowering or rasing you car often? Ive had sleeve coilovers for 3 years and ive only changed my height once..and that was to get it ina flatbed. i change my damping more often when i go on canyon carving roads. And..if you get the Teins you should get the camber kit..for you will drop you car more than 1.5 inches rolleyes. If its money your mainly money your thiniking about..youll be spending more on the Teins+ camber kit..than just the springs and shocks.
