The warmer weather is almost upon us in PA and now I can put on my 17's (Exels) and clear corners (just bought from NOPI) I want to debadge the back too but am worried about having an outline of the "Toyota" and "GT" on the paint after I remove them. Has anyone had any problems or did everything go OK? Let me know cause I want to do this...

Can they be removed the same as the badging? sorrby buddy, thankfully mine came without the molding. if i were u, i woudl jsut go to or call toyota and ask if its jsut glued one or bolted. if glued yea jsut use a hair dryer and floss. i suggest getting 2 people, had my sister do the hair dryer as i slowly slid the floss in. then used rubbing alchohola nd claybar after i did the badge

i debadged it myself... i haven't taken "toyota" off yet but i took this stupid "sport" emblem off that someone had replaced with the original GT badge, and the emblem the car dealership had put on. here are some pix, but ignore the plugs in the trunk lid from the aftermarket wing the previous owner took off... i plan on getting a Carbon Fiber trunk lid!!

Im debadging my gts...just because I have gt wheels. So if I debadge I'll be a SERIOUS sleeper!!! Fuck, now I sound like a honda guy. I didnt purposely buy gt wheels, they were on it when I bought the car and I didnt know until someone told me.

Have you tried to use a clay bar and cleaned the surface? That might work.

maybe instead of keeping the GTS badge you could do a VVT-i badge or whatever, that would be sweet
a TRD badge in place of the toyota badge, and VVTL-i in place of GT ... hehehe plus that might cover any imperfections in the paint if you decide to debadge, then you can just put the cooler-looking ones on instead

someone debadged my GTS emblem for me... w/out my permission of course they left some scratches n i was too lazy to fix it so i jus got a VVT-i emblem n stuck it on there. I want a VVTL-i emblem but cant find them anywhere and I heard they came stock on Australian celicas but they dont anymore... i really want the VVTL-i emblem because i have a GTS not a GT. Can anyone get me a VVTL-i emblem?

Yeah, I debadged my celi when I first got it, its really easy if you use a hair dryer. Only thing is I was wanting to take the toyota symble out of the front stock bumper, so far I have not looked to see how its attached but is it easy to take off and still have the factory front end or is it all one piece?
