Usually when I install parts on my car or do something to it, my dad always helps me because he is really good with cars, and I'm afraid to mess up something. Well just now I disabled my DRL's and auto on lights by myself. Hey, I know it's a piece of cake for most of you, but give me some props!

Can somebody please explain what the Daytime Running Lights are? Why the f$^k would you want lights automatically on in the day? I don't think our Oz Celicas have this "feature".

Oh-oh! somebody just got started! I bet 10 to 1 you're gonna do a lot of DIY, stereo, neons, gauges, etc. etc. etc... just surf here: https://celicahobby.com/installs/index.shtml the best source of info about 7th gen celicas and don't forget: this thing may be addictive!

It's supposed to be a safety thing. When the car was designed, there was a whole craze about these things and how they make it safer and crap, but nothing was ever proven. It's kinda like motorcycles and how they (at least in the US) run their headlights during the day, to be more visible.
