hey guys, umm im a 15 year old looking for a place to find a brand new 2005 celica GTS manual 6-speed Black and cheap , my dad is about to buy me my car soon so if anybody has any good locations closest to Santa Clara then can you post them please.

that's a toughy since this the celi's last year. if i remember right there were only 7 or so shipped to northern cali this past month. try dealer inventory searches online or calling.

Hmm, I wouldn't think that a Toyota dealer would have any TOYOTA Celicas... Hmm, have you checked your local Mazda dealer? I'm pretty sure they'd have one...

Yea they tend to send toyota products at the dealership. They might have a car there i dunno

first call your local toyota dealership..ask them if they have any..if they don't tell them to help you search for one at other toyota dealerships.

Black and GTS are going to be a problem combo. It took me about a full year to finally find mine (Sept 04), and even then I had to drive 150 miles to get xactly what I wanted.

I suggest considering a pre-owned, and a custom paint job!! There's a ton of Silver Celi's around the globe!!

yeah your 15 and you want a brand new 05 gts 6 speed...your gonna put your pops through a hella insurance bill..but seems like your dad is loaded to get you an 05..what the hell happened to getting a beater hand me down car? i was rollin in a pos corolla 5 speed and it was aqua-green...but kudos to you my young friend if you get one..i'd suggest getting a 00-02 gts bc it seems you can do more to the engine..pfc etc...that way when your pops says, its time for you to pay for your own shit, you wont be dyin for cash and you can mod it up pretty fast..i dunno the population of your town but if its a small town, dont buy from there unless you got inside peoples...go to big cities bc the tend to be cheaper and more plentiful...hell you prolly could find a used turbo celica...keep looking..and when you find one..keep looking some more bc i garuntee you once you find a good price, after you buy it, a better one will come up..

Yeah, like everyone says, you're really going to have to shop around for an '05 GTS. I live in the Phoenix area, and as far as I know, the dealer here only have '05 GT models. Cali probably has more than around Phoenix. Used/low miles is definitely a good alternative. The '05 prices for the few Celicas out there seem to be quite a bit higher, too.

ya go for a 01 GTS black 6 speed...only b/c finding an 05 is gunna be a bitch...and has any1 mentioned the rev limiter on the 05?

ok..do you guys really think i should get a 2000-2002? does anybody know a place close to my area that has one for sale? my dad will probably pay for the custom paint job and stuff like that and ill get a job in the future and work on it myself

and also...ill be gettin my permit in july in the summer i think and ill probably be drivin by the beginning of the summer i wanna go to a CELICA MEET!!!i wanna see how those things are..very coool well you guys are really cool helpin me n all that stuff.

since its gettin a lil later in the 05 model year, when exactly do they stop makin celicas? like june or july? i know around all my dealerships, they have been pretty much non existant since like early 04.. but good luck

yeah definately go for an '00-'02..

and if you go custom paint job get something cool and unusual... don't go black cause that's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too hard to keep clean...

I almost bought mine through carmax, before I found one localy. I forgot what they charged me to ship it... I bought my GTS the day before the one I ordered arrived. The salesman wasn't too sad, he knew it would sell fast!

it's an 02 year but if it suits you, go for it

i'de go check that out real fast because it will sell extremely quickly. MAKE SURE you check the vin and vehicle history report. That price seems a bit high however i doubt you will be able to talk them down on the price due to it being a TRD and your 16. Best bet on talking down the price is having dad go solo and not be as interested in it. hehe, sorry but you being 16 and researching the car. your going to love it and since your dad is paying the salesman is going to see that and try to milk you for more $$$.

he is EXACTLY right... if they see how excited you are about that car there's no way they will drop the price... I ALWAYS have dad go when i'm looking at cars... and I just keep my mouth shut and let him do ALL the talking... those dealers WANT to SELL that car... but they also want to get the most money they can out of it... excited boy/girl = $$$$$$$ ... someone who's interested but not set on it = sale but at a lower price

yeah man its a certified pre-owned vehicle! thats a winner right there w/ one previous owner and it was more than likely babied and mainteneced regularly. I would go for it! Cause I bought mines from 1 previous owner that was toyota certified.
