Celica Forums General Discussion General cops invade my street race

i set up a race tonight against my friend with a gsr hacthback against a other one right after they raced 5 cops hit the place lucky i ran out and got away... but my friend got away to and just the other racer and the 8 other cars got pulled... the cop that pulled my friend was a ass but let him going with a tail light ticket b/c the cop didnt see who was racing.. but when i took cover i had to turn my car off because of my DRL i wish i knew how to turn them off. but other than that my friend one... his come is pretty fast where taking it to the track tomorrow to see what it will run.

first, you should've taken the race to the track.

second, you are lucky.

third, there's a guide on how to disable the damn DRLs.

you just cut one wire for DRL turn off...Or turn ur car off...start your car with ur ebrake up.

i know that but i want the damn things off... and by the way the nearest track is 45 miles away and its shitty. when we go to the track we stay gone for awhile

haha, im so used to it that when i was out with my mom's xterra i left the lights on the whole day cause i forgot their not automatic like in my car. when i got back the battery was dead lol.

you might wear you e-brake out. this method is good, but not for a long period of time.

Racing yes should be taken to the tracks but still who won!!!

damn thats a bitch. take it to the track and kick some ass. i've goten pulled for street racing but the guy was really nice and let us off. we pretty happy, we were atleast 25-30 over at the time

wow, you are one lucky mofo. For the cop to pull you and still let you go. A cop saw me racing once and didn't do anything about it, it was my school SRO though and she told me she saw us the next day lol. I felt lucky then.
