With so many new cars being introduced lately, if you sold your Celi, what would you go to? A Pontiac GTO w/ 400 HP? 350Z w/over 300HP? EVO-8? WRX STI? Mustang GT Cobra? Something not listed? I myself, am getting tired of being outperformed. I am seriuosly cosidering stripping both Celi's and having an EBAY party. I feel like there is no alternative, being abandoned by Toyota, maybe I should do the same? Does anyone else feel this?

Considering that I bought my 7th gen for looks and its legacy then I would say no I don't agree with you. Besides I got no performance issues when it comes to the twisties man

Kinda hard for me to ignore 328 HP at the wheels,(all 4) on a EVO-8. As I said, I'm tired of being outperformed. I agree tho, the shape of Celi is gonna be hip for a long, long time. Just whiney for more ponies...that just don't seem to be there.

i want a wrx... just for the 4 doors and all wheel drive though haha... but i'd never trade my celica for it... i don't really care much about performance... i'm more about looks.. and the celica kicks the wrx's ass...

Just saw a EVO-8 do 4.4 0-60, thats Porsche territory! STI is a better looking car tho, wonder if it has that potential, cause I can get a STI a whole hellava lot easier than the EVO-8. But, all this being said, I'll probably never lose my 00 GT. She's part of the family! Be like selling my Mom!

I think the only car I'd trade my Celica for would be a 250Z, because it has awesome styling as well. I would love to have an EVO, but that's a performance car, not really a show car.

None of those listed. I hope my Celica lasts me a long time because I will never buy a small 4 cylinder car ever again. The only reason i drive the Celica right now is because it looks good & keeps me busy doing appearance mods. After I finish with the modding I'll just store it in a garage or something-hopefully it will be worth something in the future(people keep telling me right now that my car won't be worth anything in a few years i hate when people say that). I really want an Acura RL.

I say GTO. LS2 is a friggin monster. Gotta be the 05 though.
Would you consider a bavarian goodie? In that price range, you could probably find a used E46 M3. Look hard though.

if you are looking at just performance. go with the evo 8. or the brand new evo 9. its pretty much an evmr for an evo 8 price. think about it. $30k for a car that will hang with super cars. cant beat that man. i would defiantly go with the evo. plus AWD.

Well for one the Evo doesn't take mods as well as the STi does. I remember an article in Turbo where they had a AWD shoot out between the EVO and STi and the STi made more power with less mods. Which in turn equls more HP for less $$.
