Hey I have LED's in my dash and they are very bright, even during the day you can see, they are blue and blue is normally hard to see. You can buy super bright LED's at Best Buy for about $10 or less

Go Here. They have all kinds of LEDs. [ superbrightleds.com] The should have direct replacements for the dome light, they also sale regular LEDs (and they have some very bright ones) for a descent price. Forget going to BestBuy and paying $10 for 3 LEDs, when you could order them of here for about $3 and go to RadioShack and buy resistors for like $.05. Way cheaper. The only down side is the minimum shipping charge of $5, but if you are ordering multiple LED's, it isn't too bad.

i got LED wedge bulbs for the lights that go over the rear license plate. They are red, and they are like 4 times brighter than stock bulbs. They are even brighter than the hyper-whites i originally put in.

it depends what kind of lights your talking about. if its just bulbs then leds can be brighter than stock but i think good brands of hyperwhites would be brighter. LEDs do last reaaaallly long and use less electricity . if you're talking about LED light bars to use instead of neons for underbody or footwells they are not as bright and shine in only one spot

yea i have 4-led bulb in my licenseplate lights. 9-led bulbs for side markers, and 5-matrix-led bulbs for city lights. main plus is the great constant color for superwhite. bulbs dont seem to be able to match
