NASCAR sucks...it's a beauty contest full of uglies! Anyway that clip gave me chills! I met Hans Stuck at a Daytona 24 hr event years ago. Too chilly to see him still kickin ass! And did you see how he flew by those Porsche's?
Freakin' amazing stuff! Great clip and post! thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup

Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta have curves, hills, bridges and a start-finish line, what does length have to do with it when going round in circles? confused

That car is fast as shit! But Im sorry to say that in the first GT race of the year, it got beat by two '05 Mustang GT's. He came in third or fourth, but the Mustang GT's were kicking some serious ass. That video is BAD AS HELL!!!! nice post on that man!

To any nascar fans...

I may have been too quick to bash NASCAR (see thread title and my first post). It's just that I didn't *get* nascar, I mean I drive a damn Toyota! So I turned on the Speed channel, where you can bet your favorite John Mellencamp cassette, there's some good ole NASCAR racin' action going down. Now I understand -- that the simplicity of repetitive oval racing and the showcasing of american auto engineering is what it's all about. NASCAR or go home!

Watching that vid, really shows how good GT4 is, the track is almost exactly the same. The guys at Polyphony did a great job, all the grafiti on the track on the game is really on the track in real life, i thought they just made it up.

They do have a Celica powered by a toyota v8 or v6 in one of the minor NASCAR leagues, and I believe Toyota was kicking butt in the NASCAR truck series. I'm not a NASCAR fan but I live in NC and its all over the place and it made big news here that an import was kicking their asses.

NASCAR sucks now, but there was a time when innovation meant something. Now it's cookie-cutter, politically correct crap...full of beauty queens. thumbsup

just because they go in circles...doesn't mean they can't drive or it sucks.
there were some new rules added this year to make the racing a little more even
and the reason it's all over is because it's popular rolleyes not full of beauty queens

David Pearson, Cale Yarborough, Bobby Allison...There are no drivers like that in NASCAR any more...just beauty queens to sell stool softeners and penis hardeners! Pardon me, I forgot someone...Bobby Hamilton..he's no beauty queen. thumbsup

I think the trick is learning the track! Since it's over 12 miles long with many high speed large radius turns it's hard to go that fast on it unless you know every inch of the track by heart!
