I'm buying rims soon and i want to go with something deep, but usually i just see them on rear wheel drive cars. Maybe a 2 1/2 inch lip? I want something really nice and sit's flush or maybe a little bit in the fenderwell without getting a widebody kit. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone with pics of deep dish rims on celicas?

Sparco Dpecs
They might clear without a widebody. He has spacers on anyway.

Check out the Motegi DPK's they are cheap if you get them here:

www.rim1.com [rim1.com]

They have full sets of 18's for like $510 in chrome, gm, hyper, silver. Nice.

If you have the cash for some custom rims, judging from measurments made on my own car, you'd get a pretty decent lip if you get yourself 8,5x19 all around - with a 25 offset up front, and a 20 offset on the rear wheels. I think even 20/15 would work. I've got a 30 offset right now, and even that gives an OK lip:

That pics comes from satoshi's custom widebody so that fender isn't stock, so it will stick out a bit. Plus those rims are about $2k

Alternatively, you could go with a rim made specifically to have a big lip even tho it's not that wide. Like TSW's thruxton rims:
