I want to get a whole lighting package for my car which includes the neon underglow, flashing strobes for the front & rear for show mainly...

...but also, I want to get some nice intense HID bulbs for my headlights.

Specifically for the Celica 7th Generation, does anyone know what some of the best of the best are out there that aren't too outragous in price?

I'm looking for something that's definately street legal so I won't get nabbed by the cops, and something that's not TOO bright (unless I put on my brights, of course), but will definately give the car that European edge when cruisin' down the street at night.

Anyone know either any brands or links to any decent HID's that they personally found to be a really great replacement to the OEM bulbs?

Phillips is HID like Sony is Electronics. Definately the best out there but ur gunna pay for it. id recommend the 6000k since it the perfect mix between color and brightness. thumbsup

yea brightest are probably the 4300 which is wht is stock in cars with them. now i think 6000 is best becasue its bluest and whitest. once you go past that it gets really blue but dimmer frown

the best fuctioning since they're designed to harness the power of hid's is to get an OEM HID headlamp .. thus it's legal since it's OEM and you'll get both color and performance...

just sticking in an h7 hid kit will give you only either or.. happywink
but since you'll probably just get a kit.. get one that uses.. philips bulbs and hella ballast thumbsup

If you want something legal, do with 4300K, it's a white beam with a hint of baby blue. But they do produce the most light output and since you don't want something TOO bright, maybe you should just stick with regular xenons, cause the HID's are BRIGHT compare to stock!
