I like the feel of a perfect shift; when you clutch just right and you glide to the next gear so smoothly and quickly that you almost wonder if you actually did push the clutch in all the way, and the car doesnt so much as flinch as you keep accelerating.
Somebody else think of one.

I love the feeling when you enter a curve really fast and you can feel the weight shifting to the outside and the seat is just holding your body until you exit the curve and you feel like you just came out of space. Damn I love the touge

I don't think many of you have had a moment like mine. Maybe some of the first gen guys like Ron (CID) and Celidrfiter have but for me its the moment right as the rear wheels break lose and you begin a drift. It feels like your weightless for that one instant. And if followed up right it and you keep control the adrenaline that kicks in is euphoric.

Not just your passengers. That time you me and Greg went up stunt I had never seen a girl drive that fast. You are actually the reason that I have respect for women canyon drivers.

My zen moment is when I'm flooring it and I get a quick launch and a chirp in the 1-2 shift, then look down and before I know it I'm at 60.

Somebody else think of one. That happens all the time when i rev match with the downshift yep and that's what's called double clutching, it's the only way to down shift and keep the most control [/color]

Not true. Double clutching is clutching, shifting to neutral, letting off the clutch, rev matching, letting on the clutch, then shifting to the new gear. You are referring to rev matching.

My zen is when you have a straight road that elevates up and down like a rollercoaster and you go full speed and as soon as you hit the peak of the road you feel weightless and go down. Then the butterflies kick in.

Hrm I'd have to say a perfect heel toe downshift while trail breaking into a corner and releasing the break at the exact right time only to apply throttle immidiately after... another one I like is full throttling out of low speed corners with 0 wheel slippage (lsd's rock ) or making a U turn in 1st at WOT Definately dont like taking passengers along with me unless they enjoy the twisties as much as I do and fully trust my ability, because I can get to tear jerking slow the hell down speeds (5th gear in lift turns will do that )

Mine is when you're approaching a turn and you're going like 40mph. Rev match and downshift to 2nd gear and let the engine brake down a bit and then take the turn hard. Then pull the e-brake. I love how the back slides out and your practically drifting,... then you countersteer and bone the hell out of there, leaving a nice curvy skidmark.
