Ok, what is the best thing to clean wax off the flat black plastic and rubber on a car ????? I have tried Dawn, brushes, Meguires rubber cleaner and treatment, ect... It still leaves a faint white residue and is noticeable as hell.

use "simple green". rinse the part 1st then spray with simple green let it sit fot a bit, then hose off. it's an industrial cleaner & degreaser..

"don't get wax on it in the first place?" Haha, I try not too but, the buffer has a mind of its own sometimes and well ... you know how it is. The worst place is around the top of the moon roof, its in the natural crevices of the rubber seal and it looks terrible to me.
