Finally I got around to getting my friend's DV-camera.
Took some shots and made a compilation, don't bitch about quality or changes of scenes, I put it together quickly.

Check it out here [62.50.12.4]

This is my car (6 speed GT) with AEM CAI and Invidia exhaust. It has the carcept front lip at the moment, will be full kaminari soon.

Enjoy, let me know what you think about the sound of the Invidia exhaust.

Oh, and Isaac, if you want me to post a reply in the 'exhaust'-topic pm me.

Well, that and the rear disk brakes are about the only advantages we got here. A new GT (no leather, no electronic a/c) costs about 32k euro, so about 35k usd.
Everything you want for a celica you have to import, like my kaminari kit cost me about 1600 usd frown

Glad you all like the clip

Sounds awesome! I was a bit skeptical of Invidia given that their design is an RSR knock-off (see http://www.rs-r.com/rsr_statement.htm for more info) and their website is lame. However, your video has almost convinced me to buy this exhaust.

I have a couple of questions, though. How does the exhaust sound when you are cruising (3-4K rpms)? I love the sound during hard acceleration, but there will be times when I don't want to hear it and would get tired of it if it was constantly droning.

Was your clip recorded with or without the silencer?

I read the statement too, after I bought the exhaust. I am not sure what to think of it, the exhaust looks really good, it has invidia engraved in the muffler too, so pretty cool.
This clip is done without the silencer.
It is true that round the 3000-3500 rpms it has a pretty hard droning inside the car, which does get annoying on long runs (so keep it higher or lower).
I tried the silencer for 5 minutes once (just revving it a bit, no driving) and it made the sound a whole lot more comfortable in the car, tough the sound outside the car wasn't that much less.
Will try this week what the sound is like driving with the silencer in.

Hi there

just drove a block with the silencer in it.
It has a nice low sound now and is only loud when stepping on the gas. I'll try to film some more next weekend with the silencer in.

That would be awesome! I'm very close to putting my order in for one, but I'll wait a bit. If you do get a chance to make a recording with the silencer, that just might clinch the deal for me. Thanks! smile

Not sure,

If the flange is the same it will fit, at autosportz.com it's said to be for the GT.
Let me know the size of your flange and I'll measure mine (hmm, that sounds a bit weird)

the lower the tint, the lower the amount of light gets through (in other words, it is darker)

so 65% is much lighter than 20% confused

Our cars come with factory 70% tint...if it is equipped with AC...65% is almost not noticable...the lower the number on tint the darker thumbsup
