well, not the whole dash, just the dash insert around the cd player & whatnot. let me know what you think, i did it myself!

i think i put a total of 8 or 9 very thin coats of red paint, took me pretty much all day. then i finished it off with about 4 clear coats. i wish the clear coat was glossier, but i guess it was just the brand i got smirk oh well.

Are you getting the 6-spd or the auto because i see your gt is auto. I prefer the manual over auto for performance and its more fun to drive. BTW looks good thumbsup

and yes it does block the light for the a/c controls but i know what's what and don't even have to look at it to know what i'm adjusting anymore so it doesn't matter, it looks cleaner without the icons anyway.

and when i get my gts it's definitely gonna be a 6-spd manual. there's no other way!!

Nice job, I'd say keep the a/c control label on your GTS when you get it, in case you ever sell it, but it'll be your car not mine

well the funny thing is i put like 9 coats of paint on that sucker, and in the dark the labels still glow through a little bit lol

oh well, yeah on the gts the labels are staying on, or new ones will be put on before selling

LOL you boys are adorable
i actually did it on my own using common sense, i didn't use any tutorials or anything. just took the console off, sanded it with fine sandpaper, washed all the grit off, and did a tonnnn of very thin coats so as not to drip. i just used a can of "touch up" exterior spray paint, and the clear gloss coat in the same brand. like i said i did a ton of coats of each. there are a few little dust particles that settled and got stuck in the clear coat, but you can only see them if you're like an inch away from the console.

smile
