Celica Forums General Discussion General If youve accidently hit a car, what was going through your mind?

Well, when i first got my license, i was at skool, i found a parking, but i had to reverse park..Unfortunatly, being an inexperienced driver, i misjudged the distance, and just kinda tapped the car behind..thankfully, there was no one in theat car, and the only person who saw mr was some guy on a bike..so i got freaked out..looked around, moved the car forward abit to check if i made a dent int he guy nissan pulsar, which thankfully yhere wasnt, and drove off..I am even more thankful to find that there was not a scratch on my car..
Well, im a little more experienced now, so that kind of mistake wont happen again..

Why would you be nervous/mad because you his a POS old ass Nissan Pulsar??

TIP- If you're gonna back into a parking spot, line up the white line in your driver side rear-view mirror before you proceed to back in, it helps.

well i was going down the avenues here in salt lake city this winter, i believe it was december, i made a sharp turn, slid on some ice for about 50 ft before i finally came to a stop hitting a vw jetta, no marks on his car so i quickly got out of there!! luckily nobody saw

Well, wat i meant about that reverse park was where i park on the curb, with a car in front and one in the back..is there another term for that? well, i was nervous cos i thought i put a dent in my car, and if someone saw it from my skool..they would probly dob me in..i hate when ppl dob..

Yeah, when I had my temps a while back i backed into an eclipse at red robin. Everybody saw but nobody really cared..just kinda wiped the paint off his car (this guy has been hit a lot there was already damage) and got my ass out of there, but all i could think of was " oh shit i hope red robin doesnt have security cameras " haha.

I nailed my rim on a curb yesterday parallel parking, I felt like an idiot

damn..yeh i know how you feel..i pulled in to park, but i got to close to the gutter and made a loud crunching sound..i felt for the rims..

No, it not a sign of things to come..its happened to me a couple of times..but all of a sudden, i never hit the gutter ever since..

i believe the first things that run thru my mind is "holy shit"

Well.. i should know... i changed lanes 3 days ago and this dumb person pulled in front of me from the left lane(which was at a complete stop like 1 car length ahead. Using quick reflexes i acclerated(actually meant to hit the break) and swerved to the right. Yeah... i think they got scared.

he..he..yeh, i guess its lucky that you hit the accelerator instead of the brake..u might have locked ur wheels..and, you scared the guy so even better..

well this story was kinda funny i was driving a durango and it was like 7pm and i was on a busy street. when this lady advertising in a chicken costume is dancing on the side of the road. so like any curious person i looked and when i turned around i almost rear ended some other car. but with quick reflexes i turned left real hard and missed it and also got lucky because there were no other cars in the next lane. it was crazy
