Acetate is thicker than cellophane ... cellophane is usually very thin like paper. Acetate is thicker like a folder.

if ur talking aobut the clock mod i coudltn fined a damn thing. i foudnone store selling 100 feet of blue celophane so i said f it. i ened up buying clear dividers for a folder. then it turned otu to green so i used a sharpie to amek it darker blue

kick ass. thanks. but i still dont see point of buying a 100 ft rool for a 1inch by 1/2 inch piece i bought purple in a 50 footer and gave the rest ot my mom

I posted that as an example of the cost... WELL UNDER $10 for 100ft Roll. If you go to a flower or gift shop, they may give you a 1 sq ft piece at no charge... BUT AT LEAST with the information I've posted above, it may help those who still remain "clue-less" to know exactly what this looks like and what to ask for

lol tru. i never thought about going into a flower shop. good idea you are the man and yea a 100 foot rool was liek 8 at this part shop i went to. i am jsut a tad cheap and stingy

i heard people use sharpie or transparent paint to paint the bulb. is it ok? will it melt or anything?

i tried taking out the clock today but its quite hard to take it out... i was trying to use a flat screwdriver but still didnt come out

its like 3 big screws..then use a small jewels or electronics phillips to take out the 4 small ones, easy as that

I found a brass staple (the really big staples used to seal boxes and such) and then just bent one of the legs out and used that - it made such a PERFECT jeweler's screwdriver and if the edge was too thick, I rubbed it against the cement a few times to make it a bit sharper this "tool" has been in my tool box for such a really long time now... always very handy when working n projects like this
