I am planning to get a set of the Seibon Carbon Fiber Eyelids. I was wanted to get everyone's opinion on it. I've attached a pic show you my ride to determine if the eyelids would look good or not. Thanks

I think they would, if you didn't have the hood they would look odd.

Isaac - That shit looks badass on your ride
GTS02 - Thanks for the compliment. As for the emblem. I was thinking about it, but I'm lazy when it comes to little things like that. Eventually though.

How much do these usually run. I am picking up a pair of brand new ones from Seibon for 130 or so.

Mine are in the mail as we speak coming courtsey of this site! They aren't cheap so they better make the ride look better...

...but for those who DO have 'em already... do they just snap in place? Can some jerk just come along and snag 'em, or are they secure in place?

They attach with 3M tape, so yes someone could take them.

^^ You could always secure them with some stronger adhesive, JB weld/ superglue etc.

Red celica pride right there. I like your smoked headlights. I was thinking about them when I got the H7 overlay kit from bluebatmobile. Looks sick. Thanks for your compliment.

Wouldn't this leave residue on the headlight assembly when you take off the eyelids?

after being only attached to my car for LESS than 6 hours... they were a bitch to remove - it took about 20 minutes each side to take off... the 3M tape made it extremely difficult to remove these eyelids

actually had 4 people (SpeedDucky & Rainy, Heat and myself) trying to remove them... and this is all while the car was parked in the sun for the show - so you can imaging how difficult it would be to remove if the temperature was less than 90d outside rice

Anyone have a carbon fiber trunk? I've seen it on only one car so far and it is that, i guess they call it the "bumblebee". The yellow and black celica. Anyways I don't think that is fully carbon fiber, I believe it is the carbon fiber wrap. After I get the Seibon Carbon Fiber Eyelids, I plan to get the VIS Raised Hood Scoop and after that get the Seibon Carbon Fiber Trunk. What do you guys think about this set-up? If there are any pics of the Seibon Carbon Fiber Trunk on someones car, can you post it here. Hit me up with your opinions. Thanks

the carbon fiber eyelids are sick but i think your current setup with looks better. having the carbon hood and combining the carbon eyelids on a red car wouldnt look right.

its really not that apparent... but if it does bother you to "know" that it is there - the solution to that would be to put a line of black electrical tape around the edge of your headlamps before installing... that way everything is black rice
