im not sure if its my MAF sensor i just recently cleaned and pre oiled my k&n flat panel filter

my car used to have the same problem. even when it was idling, when you push the accelerator the Rev meter will go down first for a while before it accelerate.

i got the MAF replaced and the car ran like mad now, all solved.

your maf is a very expencive and delicate part. I would highly advise not cleaning it unless there was a problem with it, because you probably messed it up when you cleaned it. see if you can swop it out and see how your car runs with a new maf and then leave it alone.
