The lugs that I have on my car now are all rusted on to the studs. I ordered a new set of lugs that won't rust. Now the problem is that I am trying to get the lugs off now and too many studs are breaking. At least one stud on each rim has broken and I am afraid to continue removing lugs cause Im not sure if the rim would hold with just three lugs until I can get to Toyota to get replacement studs. I am using a breaker bar so that idea is out of the question. Here are a few pictures just to give you an idea of what I am working with. ANY IDEAS?

I would just take it to a shop somewhere and have them use a nuematic wrench to pop them off... The are breaking because of the downward force being applied... Just go to a shop and have them break them off and tighten them with a tire iron ( they shouldnt be that tight anyways over time the tension will warp your rotors) Good luck

Oh and i would get new studs anyways as rusted as those are

Do not use an Impact!! Find a snap-On truck and get the Wheel Lock Extractor set. I got mine for about $50. If you have a lock off, take it with you an dmatch it up with th eproper extractor, then buy only that one! They are garenteed too so if you break one they will replace it. Mouse milk will penitrate the rust.

Next time use antiseize compound to prevent this. thumbsup
