BTW do people ,nowadays, still call it an "o"possum? i used to call it that, but then i hear more people say possum more often than opposum.

Damn things are not cute our neihbor got one in his backyard once and he called me over to try to take it out of there and that thing went crazy it was hising and sptting at me and running all over the place, I've got no idea where the thing went I just scared it off

no it's not two different animals. possum is just for us southern folks b/c we get lazy with our words. correctly spelled it is opossum. come down here and you here "heytsapossum". there bad where i live. oh, and the armadillas too.

I'd wouldn't get to upset there was no way of avoiding it, it was either the opossum or him there was no way of avoiding it. I mean what would you rather him do swerve off the road possibly hurting or killing himself . He is only trying to make light of a possibly more serious situation.

I wouldn't call all of that "making good light" of the situation. Understandably he didn't intend to hit the thing, that would be stupid, but still... taking pictures? laughing about it? Not only is that disgusting, I'd even go as far as to say it's pretty pathetic.

It's understandable that some people may get offended by the use of humor to deal with difficult situations but, everyone deals with traumatic situations differently. Plus have you seen him post a pic yet I'm pretty sure he wasn't serious about doing so. How do you know the pics he was refering to were not of the vehicle involved. Yes you may find this offensive just like some people may find your use of langauge offensive.

Yep, that's understandable, someone could find my langauge offensive, but I highly doubt it. Do you? because if so I'll edit it out

I guess the idea of laughing at something like that seems a bit disgusting to me. To think that someones idea of "making light" of a situation like that is to come on here and say "first kill, celica: 1 possum: 0" doesn't really strike me as realistic. He doesn't seem too traumatized to me.


And BY THE WAY, what is the point of asking me to remove the expletives from my posts when you have them quoted anyways?
