I just got new 18" wheels and now i need a drop. I just need to know if its true that TRD springs are the only ones that dont void the warranty, if its not true i was thinkin of going with the tein springs that drop you about 1.5" but if it is true then i guess thats what i have to get.

That's partially true. TRD won't void the suspension part of your warranty. I don't think they can void your entire warranty, although they'll try like hell to. Also, TRD wouldn't if installed by a dealership. Get 'em installed by someone else, or do it yourself, and they'll try to void your warranty as well. Same goes for aftermarkets, they'll try to void your warranty. Then again, that does for driving a car stock. A dealership will excercise everything it has to keep you from gettin free replacement parts.

The only thing aftermarket springs would void warrenty-wise would be the shocks and struts, since this is what they would affect. For the price a dealer will charge to install the TRD springs (to keep the warrenty), you could easily buy another pair of struts & shocks so that point is moot. I'd go for whatever spring you want. I know in canada, I was quoted $600.00 to install the four springs. I laughed and left.

The dealership I went to quoted me a price for the TRD springs and the shocks. He handed me a sheet of scrap paper with some numbers on it. 220 for springs, 550 for rear shocks, 650 for fronts. I laughed to myself and left. I let him keep the paper.

And that sir, is why the celica is dead. Toyota tried too hard to whore every single piece as though it was made of gold.
