shift before 4k rpm-thats when vvt kicks in, also stay out of lift, and gear wisely- keep in in a gear were your not at high rpm, but not so low , your stressing your high gears- better mpg basically..keep the rpm's between 2.5 nd 3.5 rpm at all times...if your auto..keep off the gas...also having the windows down creates drag causing more gas to burn

Thanks. And going to those gas station with the air pumps is the correct way to fill up my tires with more air right? Then use device shown above to set it to the correct pressure.

The tool above serves three functions it displays pressure, it delivers air (via trigger), and dumps air (via thumb valve). The biggest advantage to this is the chuck is connected once instead of back and forth checking and rechecking the pressure during inflation.
Stick gauges are the least accurate gauges anyone could use. If one is caught in a mechanics toolbox here at the airport, it is a potential violation!
any compressed air is fine.

to save fuel i would just drive less agressive trying not to go full throttle and also if manual keep the rpm's down and just cruise

have right amount of tire pressure when the tires are cold (make sure the air pump doesnt have water coming through the compressor) shift at 3000rpm use brake instead of downshifting and landing at high rpms. put it on neutral on a downhill, or whenever ur idling but dont turn off the car. if its a gts 6spd, become a good friend with gear 6. dont use AC if not necessary. theres also this device called turbo gas saver or something like that, i have no experience with it though

The tire Mfg will give you the correct PSI for the curb weight on their tires.

I shift real low, probably too low. I also throw it into neutral if the light turns red and let the car slow itself down a little, saves gas and brakes.

i thought the proper setting for our tires is 32psi. Well that is if you have stock wheels n tires but it might b the same for other wheels n tire combinations

shuffle 'round your budget.
reallocate funds from other expenses to your gasoline allowance and reduce expenditures from other frivolous wastes.
or, just get a job and make more money.

Use cruise control whenever I can. I work at night, when there are no cars on the freeway. I commute 30 miles to work. Cruise control all the way. To bad I can't do that in the morning.
I read most gas is wasted from changing speeds constantly. Your foot constantly moves on the gas pedal. Opening the throttle, then closing it, then opening it again. Going faster, slower, then faster again.
When you use cruise control the computer keeps the throttle open at a constant. You can't do that manually with your foot. Saves you gas.

I put it in neutral and coast to red lights and stop signs. Also down big hills. And I stay in 6th gear no matter how slow I go, as long as I dont stall.
