Well, I couldnt wait for the grass to grow, so I put plywood down and tryed to unbolt my exhaust to put my RSR GT2 on. Problem is those bolts just wont come off. I sprayed wd40 and let it sit for 5-6 hrs, while spraying it with more here and there. I used a cheater pipe, It started to tun slightly, but after it looked like it was getting tighter. leftey loosey right? Any other tricks to get those bolts out? confused I am tempted to just take it to a shop. How much do you think it would be for that? confused confused

took me 1/2hr..cuz i was trying to figure out wat the hell i'm doing..unbolting the exhaust took about 10mins..spend like 5mins on them screws/the two flange bolts..one of mine got messed up because some of the teeth was gone, that'd explain why it was so hard to get off..thanks goodness for dish washing soap, put some on the rubber and hanger, then pop..it came out just like that..and mine is the axle back too.

Did you use an impact gun or a drill w/ attachment? All I got is a socket wrench... cry

all i use was the socket wrench too..and a whole lot of power..since the damn bolt teeth got chewed up so bad it won't come out..i had to use a bigger wrench...bigger handle=less pull..i even a attempt to use a hammer to bag it..oh yeah it's betta if you have both of the bolts line up at the same lenght..or else it'll be hard to get out..took me 10mins because of one f*cking bolt..i say just take ur time and use all ur strenght..

mine were so rusted i just cut them off ... you could also go get an eletrcic impact gun or a torch and try heating

thankfully after those bolts its not to difficult i can go change my exhaust stock to aftermarket and vise versa in under 15 minutes.. with out even jacking my car up

hey thats a 20 minute phone call

Hehe, someone tell me if this is bad or not but when I need to get off a rusty bolt and nothing else is working, I stick the wrench in, grab a hammer, and gently knock the wrench until it comes loose enough for me to turn by hand.

Just spray on some WD-40 or whatever lube you want on the bolts and hangers...put on the ratchet, and add a piece of pipe to the handle to get more leverage...should come off easy as pie then. And i have a 2000 so I would have as much trouble as anyone. Without a pipe for added leverage you are probably fucked.
