So how long do you guys think it will be before gas is way too expensive to buy? Gas (for cars) will no longer exist?

idk, hopefully they will make some sexy/fast hybrids soon..yet (not meaning to get a political war going here so no offense to anybody), but bush needs to drop a little bit of his war on terror and start a war on opec. opec has too much control over the american economy now and if they were to raise the price per barrel by $60 most of our country would be screwed. either way im glad i dont live in sweden ($5 something a gallon eek)

I think since last year around this time when it was creeping towards 2 bucks a gallon is too much to buy.

But of course, like everyone else, I got no choice.
If gas was more reasonable, I'd be getting the premium fuel in my vehicle instead of the standard crap, and I'd also be pushing the pedal to the metal & just driving to show off...

...now, I drive to survive.

Gimmie a $2.00 per hour raise in my pay & I wont hesistate to fill 'er up on my tank!

thank God i have no job and don't have to drive anywhere anymore...

i used to work an hour away from where i live... when i had my truck it cost me about $10 a day to get to work and back... and i only made $7 an hour... and after all the deductions it was more like $5 an hour... so that sucked...

gas prices are outrageous... i give it 5 years before nobody can afford to drive anymore...

I think I'd still pay for gas until about 3.50 or so. I think it will take 10 years of this crap until people stop trying to deal and go hybrid or stop driving.

I would like to see the gas prices at least double, maybe it would get rid of more of those 7,000lbs SUV's.

I'll tell you why gas is so expensive! It because the Flipin tree huggers wount let us drill for the huge amount of oil in Texas and alaska...So were forced to buy Oil from foreign Countries...They know they can get away with charging us huge amounts of money for a little bit of Oil...cuz we have no where eles to turn!!!! angry angry angry angry angry angry ...this has nothing to do with taxes...And of course if would be lower in their own countries...They are getting all the mula from us... angry angry ...were being takin advantage of!!
