After almost causing damage cry, i figured it out. The plate is a small part the other two are the "Gas tank Lid" and the "hatch door handle" confused I will drill two extra holes for the plate but as for the other two still dont know how to get rid of it. Anyway thanks for your help everyone... thumbsup

for my gas tank lid I sort of bent the latch that holds it in so it would be tight, that stopped the rattling for me. thumbsup thumbsup Up to you if you wanna try that. just dont bend it too much. rofl

Black RTV. Use car wax for a release agent so the RTV only bonds to the side you want it to stay. we use it on engine wiring harnesses all the time to prevent further chafing.

i put some of that foam weather stripping between my plate frame and the actual plate and it stopped that from rattling but the hatch handle is the biggest problem of all. im still dynomating so hopefully it will help a little.

I have a large ported box with a 10" JL W7. My deck rattled like crazy. I had the whole thing lined with Dynamat and dynamat on the inside of the fuel door and behind the plate and added two screws to the bottom of the plate. Worked for the plate and the fuel door. The back still rattles just 40 percent of what it did. If I face the woofer and box toward the front it doesnt rattle as bad but you loose loudness. If it is faceing the back my window looks like it is about to come out. There is no way to stop that much rattling. Dynamat is the only thing that helped me. If their is any other way let me know. thumbsup

yeah dynomat would be nice but it adds more wait, just take 1.5" thick foam and stuff it between the sheet metal and interior panels [/color]
