Is the cruise control on the 7th generation celica set by a High Picthed sound? i.e to set a rader detector you have to hit a tuning fork at 30mph

It is picked up by a sensor either at the transmission or the ABS sensors that reads the speed, but I have no idea how to adjust the calibration. An article that I read said consult the EWD
