Just wondering how you mounted the hood pins and if you use the screws to hold down the pin. Anyway, shoot me some comments and pictures. As far as I know, putting hood pins on a Carbon Fiber hood may cause a possible damage or crack on the Carbon Fiber hood...

It shouldn't cause any damage or cracks if you get the hood pins professionally drilled.

can you post pics on how the plate was mounted. I dunno if I should be using the screws provided with my sparco pins shince they are really short and the location where the plate should go is think because of the hood frame.

thanks for pics... did you use the screws that cam with? your hood could difer frmo mine since i got invader style. the spot where the plate will reside is on top of the frame itself which makes it impossible to mount withouth weakening the frame.

I had the hood pins installed by a shop. They used the screws that came in the package. If U R good with drilling, then I say go for it and do it urself, but if u're not comfortable with that kinda stuff (like me), then have a shop do it for U.
