K, I'd like to purchase an AEM CAI today so it's here by the end of the week. I'm not sure who a good company is to buy from online. Any ideas? If you have a link directly to a really good one, please let me know Thanks! Kristin

Froogle helps find the best prices http://www.google.com/froogle?q=aem+intake+celica&sa=N . Just call one of these places to make sure you can get fast shipping.

http://www.suprastore.com/newcelicagtgts.htmland you can thank me for the price. I got them to match the price from MVP motorsports so I could order from one site. They ship quick. I just got my B&M SS today, and I ordered it Tuesday night at like 5:30.

^^^nice. i got the cheapest price for the AEM CAI than all of you. $80 i love the AEM CAI. its so nice and loud when its on. the gains are crazy. usually when i floor it in my auto, the tires dont chirp, but now they do. crazygonuts...acceleration is great. it helps when you have a body kit like the blitz kit with a "ram-air"-like opening for the filter. good choice, other than AEM, i'd of suggested TPR (which i really wanted, but at $80, i couldnt turn this offer down!)

Zero, where's a good place to buy TPR from? Is that better than AEM? I don't really know the differences. The site suprastore.com has a good price...but when I go to add to the cart, it says " this unit is designed for Manual Transmission cars only and will look great under the hood of your GT." I have a 2003 Celica GT Automatic. It won't work on my car will it?

Also, is having a raised hood scoop going to make any differences?

a raised hoodscoop would prolly benefit the header, cooling it TPR intake/exhaust can be ordered on their website, which i currently dont know. (i know its not tpr.com because there are a few companies with that name. i bought my intake knowing only one thing, it was for a GT. i didnt know if was for an auto or manual, but it still works.

i dont think there could really be any differences in the intake depending on the transmission type, that shouldnt matter for anything...

Well, the auto is a little bigger than the manual, and the CAI tends to run in the general vicinity of the tranny...but generally it doesn't make a difference.
