ahh...what about the emanage and unichip (<---actually i have yet to see and independant dyno on the unichip...but it seems to work with the matrix owners) Not as good gains. You could say standalone is the powerfc and piggyback is the e-Manage. An independant dyno of the unichip showed a 4 whp and 4 wtq gain on a gts with i/e/h which puts it behind the e-Manage and the unichip is twice as much. The low end power of the unichip looked good but I still dont know if it would put it above the e-Manage since the e-Manage gains 6 whp and 4 wtq without any other mods on a gt. Even with the extra harnesses I needed to run the sc with the e-Manage, it still was cheaper than the unichip. So e-Manage would be the best option for celicas with dbw who cant get the powerfc or want something cheaper.

how so? customer service was horrible. lots of people never recieved there kits. In my book. thats pretty lame. C2 customers seem very pleased with thier product.

i've been in a stafford turbo'd GT and GTS... and the kits are top notch... i know c2 makes a good kit...
stafford's kit comes with a fuel system and c2's does not...
look at everyone with the stock c2 kit... they peak at ~190 whp in their gt's because their cars lean out too much otherwise...
fuel system costs about 500 bucks...

the unichip peak hp isn't bad but the gains on the overall poer bad (esp. down low) seem pretty good. but i would have to agree that the #'s aren't that great if this was an I/H/E dyno...

I def. agree with the c2 turbo. Customer support is way too important with a turbo.

if you went all out NA you would have the following (gts) intake - 200 exhaust - 450 header - 700 PFC - 900 Tuning - 300 thats 2550... you can get a turbo kit for just over 3k... so whats the point in gaining 20 whp for 2500 bucks when you can buy a turbo and gain 100 whp. gt could have : intake - 200 exhaust - 450 header - 700 PFC - 900 Tuning - 300 cams - 400 cam install - ~300 thats around 3300... and only about 140-150 whp when for that price you can get about 210 whp with a turbo...

as far as not going the FI route... i'd say to stick with suspension mods for the best bang for the buck... the celica is strong in the handling dept. and can hold its own quiet nicely when equipped with good suspension upgrades.

The turbo is gonna cost more around 5000 and that doesnt include any internals. The intake is still the best bang for your buck without forced induction. I went down a second and a half in the quarter mile by adding an intake and exhaust. Granted I was in the 18's to start out with but it does make a difference. Of coarse going with a turbo or supercharger is much better but then you have to start worrying about reliability and most people dont just have 5 grand lying around.

lol I love how people list custom exhausts as being the best for performance. If all the people that did custom exhausts knew everything about flow dynamics, why haven't they opened up the best performance exhaust company nationwide LMAO...

Oh theres no doubt a custom exhaust can make more power than mine. But the odds of an exhaust shop achieving this by randomly throwing some muffler and piping together is slim. I'm sorry, but there is a lot more that goes into an exhaust than just throwing one together. I chose magnaflow because of the sound, quality, and how easy they were to deal with in making my mufflers for me. the performance was just a benefit Again I say, custom is only decent if the shop knows what they are doing...and good luck with that  The cams are already available for purchasing. no one wants to buy because theres no dynos yet...
