that's correct i was doing about 50 and it just ran outta no where from the right, i could not do anything to avoid it unless i felt like crashing. bam...luckily it hit my front diffuser hit that, totally ripped it off the studs that hold it but only on the right side...then proceeds to get stuck there  20 feet later, i heard it go off and go under my left rear tire  on the way home i saw it...stupid suicide animal anyway, yea my front bumper is wobbley now, the front diffuser is hanging and is scratched to a mother with a big hole in it underneath. maybe i'll get pics another time, i don't feel like it now. have no idea what will happen now

i have nothing else to put on  i'll let you know what we will do (if toyota buys a new stock front) why would you want a beat up veilside?

Okay, that's funny, but sorry about the damage. Similar thing happened to my brother's firebird. I was following him home one night through some mountain roads and this rabbit ran out of nowhere and hit him! I never would have believed it if I haven't seen it, because he's always getting into trouble with his car. He got lucky though because it hit his rear tire and bounced off! It ended up being okay as far as I could tell, but he pulled over to see if there was damage. I had to pull over because I was gonna run off the road I was laughing so hard.

I had a similar experience. I was cruising at about 50 late at night and happened to see one cross the road. I slammed the brakes and locked up cause I knew if I hit it, and with my low front end and my drop, the damn thing's going in my radiator. And I REALLY don't feel like peeling possum off my grill/radiator. Plus, that shit will just stink when the engine heats up.
Luckily, I happened to stop JUST in time. I must have been inches from it. I saw it scurry straight away from me, then ran off the side of the road where it came from. The good thing was there wasn't anybody else around to hit me or it.

I hit a black cat once went up under the front left tire and proceeded to knock my side skirt loose, happened quick i was 75 in a 50 zone and he came outta nowhere.

possums are only 15 points. next time aim higher, a good deer with an 8 point rack is 50! I've had way too many close calls with deer out in the country. Late at night with no street lights, even the HIDs won't catch the deer in enough time to save me, especially at 80+ mph.

Possum hit you? Maybe it had a death wish. Maybe it just couldn't deal with the rising cost of fuel which is like $2.50/gal around here. That price will make any possum go postal. I guess that possum just couldn't deal with inflation & decided to enter the next level. I dunno.
