I'm mod'in my '01 GT for the first time and am going at it hard. This is what I plan to do now: Weapon Dragon-R CAI (w/ ram air kit), TSRM, Hotshot header. Don't laugh at this part, but I have an auto. The spectra blue i wanted could only find w/ auto in Dallas area so I went for it but REALLY wanted stick. Wish I would have waited now.
Do these mods make sense w/ an auto? I'm planning on ordering all this stuff this week.

Mods are fine. But you will have to do something about your launch/low end. I recommend pullies or torque convertor...or even both.

Yeah, if you don't want to loose all your low end...what little you have to start with. then definetly get at least an aem pulley and you said hard then also get a torque converter, I have seen some good ones for almost a grand. Oh, and that low end thing was just a joke. Or you could hook up nitrous so it comes on for the first 3 grand, that would help. I have a 5sp gt and even I noticed loss of low end when I got my header, although high end improved dramatically.

If I had your car I would definetly get, Aem intake, Trd exhaust, Aem Pulley, High performance torque converter, b&m short throw...wait a minute, never mind on that one. ha ha!! Your lookin to spend about 1600.00 bucks on that stuff. Or you could go the extra mile and get the DD turbo for 3500.00. The choice is yours.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! A grand to improve the low end???? How long will it take for aftermarkets to mfg torque converters for 7 gen celi's? If I do all the other stuff will it be worth waiting to put it in later when cheaper? Or should I wait and do it ALL later?
