Guess we'll just have to wait and say. Although its weird that photo of the 07 "supra" at Nurburgring is popping up all over the place. Sounds too good to be true. "Toyota insiders say the reincarnated Supra should reach the market in 2006 as a 2007 model. The rear-wheel drive coupe, being targeted at the Nissan 350Z, will be powered by a twin-cam 3.5-liter V-6 and priced from well under $30,000." http://www.detnews.com/2004/autosconsumer/0411/10/f03-323632.htm

Let's just hope!

It seems that the supra might be comming out and other cars, but with the v8 engine that supposed to come in those cars the fuel consumption that those cars do i think i'd take my chances with a Toyota Prius that they are developing that can do a 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.

I'd less rather see the Supra come into production. I'd rather see that LS-A supercar conecpt that Toyota is cooking up. Drop one of their F1 V10 engines in, and you've got a monster. It'll propel toyota into the performance stage like none other.

I saw that on a magazine.

toyota will release news when they are ready. anything you hear, i wouldn't believe. i do think though 2007 is going to bring a new model of some sort, but is not going to be called a supra so why is it that all these threads have to say "bringing back supra" it won't be anything like a supra, but a high performance car

Thats not going to be the Supra, it has the distinct shape, but its going to be a supercar by Lexus, LF-FA or something like that.

Anything that doesn't have a 2JZ-GE (or is it GTE) or any motor that hasn't been in the line up before isn't a Supra, just an imitation. They need to update the 2JZ and make it even more bad ass. Do you know of any other motors that can handle over 500 horsepower on a stock block? I think I have even seen Supras pushing 900hp on the stock block once in a magazine. What other motor can do that minus super cars?
