yo,

My buddy and i were playing around with my car, and were going to start making the turbo manifold for it, so while we had the valve cover off i was going to run down to toyota and get the new lift bolts. well my front one is broken off, and my back one is still fine. I'm taking my car in there tomarrow and they are going to look at it. i ordered 6 new bolts (they are only like $0.50 a peice). Do they cover that in the warrenty, or will they charge me. and people that have had them break, how did you get them out yourself.

any info on your situation would be awesome.

thanks.

They cover it if you have the Powertrain warranty. So that should be 5 year or 60K miles, whichever one comes first.

My lift bolts were not broken, and the dealer replaced them for free 2 weeks before the 5 year powertrain warrenty ran out.

They will probably charge an arm and a leg knowing how sneaky some dealerships are.

I was lucky enough that after 60K my lift bolts were not broken. Replaced them without any trouble.
