so i got this 12" rockford fosgate punch from a friend. It use to be in his truck so the box it is in is this skinny little thing for a truck. What is there to know about building your own enclosure? What are some pro's and cons and what should i look for as of shape if i decide to do this?

i had some guys do it for me cause it was a long project. but you have to think first about wheather you want a sealed or ported enclosure or sealed or ported plain box. i have heard that ported is a little louder and sealed it a little cleareralso, think about how you're going to mount the box to the floor so it doesnt move or rattle. decide before you start to put together the enclosure if you are going to dyno mat the trunk or not, cause its too late to do it afterwards if you do a full trunk enclosure. mostly everything else is common sense and knowing how to wire everything. heres a pic of how mine came out...
