amp-phoenix gold sub-JLw7, one of these 10 inchers hits harder than most pair of 12 inch subs, either that or eclipse subs,i know a guy that got w7's in his nissan suv, and its HUGE system,he said the shop he got it done at didn't cary eclipses at that time so he got the JL W7 instead but he'd rather have eclipse
a phoenix gold amp is like for the competition stuff, not cheap stuff, just about the best amp money can buy

there's so many options.
HEAD UNIT, single cd unit the best thing out there right now is either the alpine f#1 status which retails at around 3 grand or you can go with eclipse's CD8053 which is so insanely good.
in-dash dvd/lcd the best thing right now is the alpine IVA-D900 or you can wait a month or so and get the new eclipse unit which has all the features the D8053 has plus the dvd mp3 and the lcd screen and it's a touch screen and it has picture in picture to view 2 sources at once.
AMPS, 4-Chan for the interior the best thing you can use is the JL Audio 450/4 whch puts out 150x2 for the front components and 75x2 for the rear coaxials you will use for rear fill Mono amp for the subs would be something like JL Audio 500/1 or 1000/1 depending on what subs and power spec you will need.
SUBS, Eclipse or JL Audio whatever you chose will have to be based on how soon you want to lose your hearing. W7's are insane and so are the eclipse...
DYNAMAT, you can use the original Dynamat or generic shit they sell on ebay. if you use dynamat I recommend Dynamat Xtreme.
there's so many options you can go with it all comes down to how much you want to spend...
we've installed full celica stereos that go from 2 grand and up to 9 grand.

I would use crutchfield...may be a lil more expensive but their service ROCKS, they take care of you no matter how big or small your order is...

Before I'll even shoot a product name out give me a budget. I can do anything as soon as I get a budget, and dont think for a second that a W7 is the only choice for sql...

sure it isn't but 90% of the people that own a celica don't know the difference from an SQ and an SPL set up.
they just care thta it hits hard and lound and everything shakes around them.
and the W7 can sure as hell do all that without losing too much SQ

and the W7 can sure as hell do all that without losing too much SQ I totally agree but a W7 is gonna cost a minium of $500 for a 10. I can almost gaurantee that I can find 2 12s or 10 by a less popular brand that would do everything the w7 could do. Cause no matter, and im sure you know this, its all in the install. Take someone like nate munson, 169.8 with a single 9510. granted it was a total extreme car deadened to hell, but thats an incredible feat. So all I'm really trying to say is, take the time, build a box that suits your subs well, maybe something with a flat response for sq or a small peak for a little spl and the w7 will prove unnecessary.
