this one look like an Injen SRI replica... I suggest you too buy a brand one... like AEM or Injen or Blitz...
Mom, I Lost you on April 7th 2004, but I will remember you for ever... I'm missing you

For SRI, my experience is - don't buy eBay ones, unless they are Injen or AEM. I tried one of the eBay SRI's with MAF in the bend, did not work out on my car (2005 GT). Think it is a bad design as well with the MAF placed in the bend. For me it gave me a power loss rather than a power gain. Hit the gas, and it bogs.
My recommendation is to save up the money, get an AEM, Injen or similar that is CARB legal and is guaranteed to work! For the CAI's - these are also individually tuned to work with your car. You have no guarantee for that with the eBay knock offs. That is one reason AEM and Injen are more expensive - a lot of testing and a lot of paperwork to get them legal. If you get pulled over, you won't have trouble with these.

Yea aem, injen spend all thisa time testing and all that bs, and for the cai they still freakin bog and still throw cels. Mod a ebay intake no cel no bogginh just as good as AEM or injen. Also if you get pulled over and a cop askes uou to pop the hood you dont have too and i dougbt they will ever ask you to do that. Why sppend 200sumthin for a tube and filter when you can get cheaper on ebay and mod it to be just as good.

Buy brand name parts that have been proven. Doing things cheaply will get you no where...
My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10 of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

I think a RMM CAI or TPR has better HP possibilities.

No, I said buy brand names parts... RMM, Blitz, and TPR are all brand name parts, that have proven many things. Replicas are normally crap. You get what you pay for... Not everyone gets a CEL from the AEM or Injen intakes, but you are right that people do get CELs.

I had an ebay CAI a while back. worked great for about a month or so then it started boggin pretty bad so i took it off. before that the only problem i had with it was the quality of the mounting hardware that came with it...oh that and the nice "mugen" sticker i had to take off.
But i guess all in all quite a few people have had great experiences with ebay mods and plus its only $20 i guess its worth a shot to give it a try if you really want to.
But again ive learned like many others that you get what you pay for. The way i look at it now is that your paying upteen thousand dollars for a car do you wanna chance risking the reliability of the car by using substandard parts?
**EDIT**
forgot to mention i was thinking about trying out bluebombers mod but I decided i wasnt keeping the celica forever and at some point i was going to need to return it to stock so i didnt wanna chop up my air box.
