i put in the hoodpin for the passenger side with no problem but now i can't put the pin for the driver's side because there's a hose that is connected to the cooling fans? it's right under where the driver's side hoodpin would be any suggestions? the only thing i can think of is to cut the pin so that it's right right height any other ideas? i can't move the hose out of the way at all i've tried with no success. any help would be great thanks!

the drilling part isn't the problem i can't the pin all the way in so i can set the right height, so when i stick it in, the hose makes the pin sit up too high, you know what i mean?

thats the coolant line to the radiator... just push/pull it out of the way... or buy a longer hose.
