With the rise & rise of gasoline prices... I've been tempted more & more to goto the Indian Reservations to fuel up on my car because they don't face the state taxes like other gas stations...

...I used to go all the time in my other cars, but their gas sometimes comes from Canada.

...my question: For anyone who lives somewhat near an indian reservation, has anyone here got reservation gas in their GTS Celica's, and do you think it makes a lick of difference?

91 octane is 91 octane... it's cheaper, but do you think the quality is cheaper, or is ok to fuel up there as opposed to a regular station?

I'm tempted to get it because the premium is going to take a real toll on my funds since it's like up to 20 cents higher than regular unleaded (which is like $2.50 per tank which on a weekly fill up is 10 bucks more per month & 100 bucks or so per year!).

The reservations do not distill the oil. They buy the gas somewhere. find out what brand it is and ensure there is a 91 octane tank (some stations in Arkansas only had one tank and charged the three grades out of the same tank beforeall under ground tanks were certified). I would use it for sure! You can ask where the gas come from, then ask the dispatch of that company if they are shipping 91 out there. The truckers will talk to anybody, they are regular people too. thumbsup

if ur ever worried bout the gas at station just ask the owner for some info on thier supplier , you'll find most will tell ya, and if you are worried stay away from BP.
