im bout to get rims today. just wonderin how much do stock 16 inch gts rims weigh? i heard somewhere like 19 pounds w/o tires so if i get 17's that are 19 pounds also, would it hurt my performance or no? by the way these are what im fixed on...

Changing overall diameter will change your acceleration and top end a little bit, but if you get performance tires to that your overall diameter is constant and the wheels weigh the same then you will see no change...
