10" Kicker Solo-Baric L7 subwoofer (handles 600 rms) click for info [crutchfield.com]

Power Acoustik TS980-2 amp (should give the sub 560 rms) click for info [crutchfield.com]

the amp has the "plasma sphere" and it pulses lightning to the music, and it will match the sub so awesome... down the road i'm gonna get another sub and another amp and run 2 of each (exactly the same) and have this local guy jp build me a really nice box like he did for louie.

for now i will be using this ported box.. click to view [i15.ebayimg.com]

Power Acoustik is WAY overrated. We bench tested it at the shop i work at (we have to do this on all of the amps we sell so we don't give people BS)always puts like 250 less watts on the bigger amps and around 160 less watts i think on the smaller amps. We usually don't recommend people to buy power acoustik amps unless they want a budget set up with weaker subs (around 150-300 rms subs). Why didn't you go with a momo amp? A two channel won't do that sub justice unless it's running good watts. i'd be surprise if that amp puts out 300watts. And remember, that's 560w they claim with a 4ohm bridged and if you got one of those subs that you posted which is a dual 4 ohm sub, you can only wire it to 2 ohm or 8 ohm and not 4 ohm. Should of went with well brand 750-850 watts mono at 2 ohm. Amp looks nice though. did you already purchase this?
