With that amplifier, the sub is being extremely underpowered. The Amp only puts out 120 watts RMS bridged and the sub is recommended to run 400 watts rms. I would recommend this

Also, the kenwood sub has good ratings on cardomain, so i think it is a good choice for your tight budget. But again, i would go with a stronger amplifier to get the most out of the subwoofer.
