Is a TRD supercharger on a 1zz-fe legal in CA?

go to highway protrol office with the supercharger and show them how it look then ask them to c if its legal.

If its not standard equipment then the answer is no. Its an emissions thang

just curious, why wouldn't it be legal? california is full of hippies and tree huggers. anything that plays or removes stock smog equipment for example resonators, cats, egr, adjustable fuel and air controllers is considered illegal in the eyes of california.
