In australia, hydraulics are illegal on motor vehicles, so as an alternative, they put airbags on. I see this a lot on modded utes. Is it a good idea to install an airbag kit for a car? especially the 6th and 7th generation celica?

Would anyone know the pros and cons in havng an airbag kit?

Air Ride is one of the more popular brands here in the states to use. And they also have a strut type air system, althought he celicca is not listed

Hydros are illegal here in the unites states, but then again, air bags can be to if they wanted to get picky..

There isn't really that many downsides to bags, of course for the first couple weeks you're working out little bugs and kinks, such as leaks, ride heights, pressures, etc., but after that, they're fun as hell..some of the reactions are great, my gf always calls my truck a freak show because when you pull into a parking lot and lay it out, people just stop and stare..

When I find myself in a position like this, I ask myself what would General Motors do? And then I do the opposite!
