Celica Forums General Discussion General TRD emblem - Pearl - need input :)

My uncle told me that he'd like to paint the huge TRD emblem in Pearl paint on my white Celi. It'll only show when the sun hits it. It would look like this one here most likely:

Thing is...I think it'd look alright but I mainly have black/white/Carbon Fiber on my car right now - but this might add a nice contrast. Soooo what do you guys think, should I let him do it or not? He's doing it for free for my bday next week

Hmmm, I think in black its a little too much, but pearl white on white might be cool. You could do a "mini" version on some cardboard or wood and maybe see what it would be like? I'm not sure a photo chop would be all that realistic, since the white/pearl white shades might not quite be right.

Yeah, we'll definitely test it first. Black is definitely WAY too much. I'll keep y'all posted.
