I live in California which has the most strict smog laws.. I really want to turbo my Celica but I am slowly getting discouraged because of the Cost and the lack of support for forced induction on the 2zz. I was hoping someone who has done a turbo and is happy with it that lives in California could tell me what company you used and where I should start my research.
I'm just about to give up on moding my car.. intake headers exaust powerfc seems like a waste of money to me.. what do you guys think?

You could always put together a kit, or have a well known shop put one together for you.

where you at in so.cal?

I would say go with the c2power kit since he seems to get them shipped rather quickly. you'll want to upgrade to the power fc and get the datalogit though. perhaps he'd be willing to work with you on that since he uses the e-manage.

other then that, we use SF. but he takes quite awhile to get kits to people.

For smog you would have to take it off to pass, or pay someone under the table to pass you, if you know anyone. As for ref tickets, then you definately have to take it off, can't pay those guys off.
