i got it from ngkits. it wasn't a perfect fit but any bodyshop can fix the fitment. i'm fixin to do some major work done to it. my plans are to have it in nopi nationals with my local car club. the kit shipped was $550 and was at my house in alabama in 1 week. that was the first time i've ever recieved anything on time.

i know you may think im retarded, but i have been riding around like that grin
if i payed that much for some fiberglass then im gonna get my money out of it. i put it on b/c i live in the country and work in the city. birmingham doesn't have the best streets. i wanted to drive back and forth to get the hang of all the dips. i didn't want to crack it and have to repeat the process of painting. i don't have the money to screw up. it's goin to be painted in a week or so. i wasn't trying to make celica peeps look bad.

Hey looks really good but (not saying hte rims you have on are bad) but wut about black or gunmetal with a polished aluminum lip. That would look kinda gangsta!

i hate gunmetal and black. imo thats about as ricey as you can possibly get now a days. everyone is carbon fiber crazy too. the only thing that i would buy carbon fiber is the vis invader hood. now that looks tight. everybody wants gunmetal or black. i did think about a white pearlescent rim with my body panted a candy apple red. that to me would be more original. thumbsup

i find it funny that you call black and gunmetal "ricey" when you drive around with unpainted front and rear bumpers with no sideskirts...i read that you are testing your roads but c'mon now. if you've been driving on those roads for awhile you know where potholes, indentions, or inclines are...and new potholes can pop up anywhere, so you can't really "learn" the roads...just be more aware when the kit is on...

don't get your panties in a wad. i said imo which translates to "in my opinion". to me ricey means something tuner that everybody and their mama has. first of all i just put the kit on and second of all i just started a my new job working at a hospital about 1 hour from where i live. new surroundings, new roads, and you can never find the same parking place. so IMO its pretty dang smart. i already said i was sorry if i made all the celica peeps look bad. its a lot better than driving around with a busted up veilside kit like some people. sorry if i offended you or anyone else. my goal is to be original thats all. thumbsup

you didn't offend me at all...i just find it ironic, that's all...but hey, do your thing. btw, "everybody and there mama" with a celica has that replica hood scoop...doesn't mean i don't like it, uh-oh does that mean its "ricey."

ha ha i know what you mean. you don't have to explain things to me differently so i'll understand. everybody and there mama does have one. i know. i see where your coming from. maybe i put it a little harsh. it's really just not my style.
