i just recently purchased an OBD2 reader and the code popped out p0505, idle control system malfunction... how do i fix this problem ?

not 100% sure, but I'd check your IAC valve and sensors related to engine idle.. the OBD is meant to give you an idea of what's wrong, but can't really tell you the real problem without further investigation. maybe try cleaning your throttle body?
