Hey i just got the indiglow gauges from the ecelica.com store and i need to get them installed. I called this guy and he said 120. Ok that seems insane can anyone help me out here?

yeh i got about the same price for the install. I agree it is cheaper to do it yourself, but im afraid of messing something up with the wiring. If anybody lives in jersey and wants to make a quick 50 bucks let me know

It really isn't that hard. Before I installed my gauges I had not done anything custom to any car and I was able to do it fine

this question has something to do with gauges as well...
how do i take off the interior panels so i can reach that rubber bushing?? sorry if it's confusing...i don't kno how else to put it...
i guess in other words, how do i reach the rubber bushing from the inside of my car??

what?
the firewall?
when installing and wiring...you can take off the lower part of the dash...that's the part by your legs...you will see the bolts holding it on.

Seriously...there is a MUCh easier way to hook up gauges...WITHOUT going through the firewall...
if anyone wants to know my setup let me know...I an provide pics and info about it...

yes much easier way to do it. forget about the parking light. You guys are making it so much harder then it has to be. Go to the cig lighter

120?  Even if you don't want to do it yourself, shop around - you can find a much better price than that! I didn't want to bother, so I had some gauges installed for 30 or 40 bucks (it was so long ago, I can't remember which). That is a ripoff!

im from burlington right over the bristol bridge...why are you interested in doing it for me. if so is it possible for you to do neons to my cig lighter with switches in the ashtray

im from burlington right over the bristol bridge...why are you interested in doing it for me. if so is it possible for you to do neons to my cig lighter with switches in the ashtray please do NOT install your neons and your gauges and whatever else, ALL TO YOUR CIG lighter... when they are all turned on and you press the cig lighter button, since there is no fuse between these connections, you will burn out one of your expensive toys and it will cost much more time and money to replace it... when all this could be avoided by just wireing your neons to your battery, your gauge overlays to your lighting and whatever toys you have installed, as instructed by those install guides. the ONLY people who have complained about their gauges "smoking" right after installation, were those who have had neons and other toys all hooked up to the cig lighter  Do things correctly the first time and money from having to fix the problems later

i hooked my gauges up to the fuse for my taillights... i have soo many wires going to all those different fuses.. lol.

I connected my indiglos to my cig lighter light (green wire). I have no plans on connecting anything else to it so I'm fine.

im not saying hook them all up to the cig lighter i was just saying to have the neons hooked up to their for now... the gauges i know have to go elsewhere. i guess i wasnt too secific when i typed that

Yea man seriously do them yourself. Isaac's install post will save you substantial time and you will not have any headaches. The only thing I found out that helps is whenever you try to slide them on bend the overlays length ways. Notice I said bend do not crease them. It will help you get them to slide on no problem and you won't have to worry about breaking your tach or spedo needles.

Satoshi, im recoemending that people NOT hook a bunch of things to the CIG lighter... the only people that have problems are those who have several items connected there

you don't always have to go to the cig lighter...
the fuses work fine...
and if you test out misc wires underneath the dash, you can find one for power or that has illumination power to it when the lights are turned on.
